Good food shows on Indian Television

There are some good food shows on the indian television networks. i like the shows that has lot of traveling in it and where they show food culture from differnt parts of india. In hindi zaika india ka which runs on NDTV Hindi news channel is quiet good it takes you to various parts of india particularly to northern india it rarely goes to south due to the language barrier. Nice intelligent host it has, a senior journalist. The show is quiet interesting with frequent peek into Indian food history and general history.
The other show that i used to like was Foodie that comes on Times Now, but recently it has gone all crap. what they now show is all that mindless celebrity food habits, the celebrities who boast they are good cook and all, and they cook quiet often just to make a fashion statement as to cook now a days has become a kind of fashion. The show has gone all crap.
The other travel based food show with quiet good quantity of humor and interesting format is “Highway on My plate” which comes on NDTV Good times. With all the food varieties in various dhabas across national highways and some interesting restaurants. The thing that makes it differnt is there are 2 hosts one vegeterian and other non vegeterain so it servecs dual audience. Moreover its quiet humorous.
