Bad Luck Raju

with 7 comments

Raju ban gaya scamster, raju ban gaya conman, raju the fraud and many other name’s were given to Ramalinga raju after the satyam issue came out.
Dont know why, but i dont like calling him a fraud he just had bad luck at decision making, well he inflated books and i am sure that many companies around the world do this kind of thing in anticipation that it would be adjusted with the future profits, many such instances of cooking books might be taking place around the world but its just that they dont come out in the open. The thing that raju did is something that anybody would have done, after all he wasnt stealing anything. He even had to pledge is personal holding for that, he certainly didnt intend to run away with money he was just trying to save the company.  As for the share holders who think they lost so much money well it would have been lost anyway if the company would have stated earlier about its negligible profits. If satyam might have reported the losses as and when it occured the company would have been in no better situation than it is today, rather it would have brought down the prices of other IT majors too in anticipation of a trend.
To a point i would consider him brave because atleast he told the truth, once he was sure the company was in danger. Its just that one wrong decision leads to another and leads into a series of unfortunate events, can happend with any one, any company.

  5. @Discussion corner. i dont think we can categorise raju as a thief. its more like you have to go some where and u lost your wallet. Now you dont have any option but to board a train without ticket and take the risk. Thou u havent intended to cheat the railways but now u dont have any option so u take the risk and board, thats what happnd with raju he boarded the train and he got caught. atleast he didnt make any bahana with the ticket checker and agreed about his wrong doings

  6. This has nothing to do with luck. Most IT companies at least the top ones are honest. Now all of them will suffer because of this guys bad deeds.

  7. Lets forget about the honesty problem, the major takeaway from all this is his vision. He tried to run a company with a lot of profits and no loss, an ideal performing machine:) :DP.S: I belong to the same company 😀 😀
