A day in the life of India

What an Idea! now on the web.

After sucessfully creating a series of very effective television ads, the idea campaign has gone online with http://www.myidea.co.in . basically a polling site, where users are allowed to create polls on social, political, economics and other categories.  well thats a good idea and quiet insightful to know what public things, some interesting outcomes show that UPA will win the general election, more people want prostitution to be legalised. More and more brands are getting into social sector like the tata tea’s tie-up with http://www.Jaagore.com.

I guess this website is gonna create quiet a brand value to idea cellular. Other successful web based campaigns have been on sunsilks’s gang of girls website (www.sunsilkgangofgirls.com). It was launched as a web campaign for sunsilk and on a social network platform but with time it grew so successful that it has started making profits.  Also the lays’s http://www.whatstheprogram.com website is also quiet interesting, but dont know why this product seems to be targeting only males as if females dont eat chips. Moreover the site is already a flop. If you look at the statistics at alexa.com you can guage how fast the idea website is gaining visitors.
