A day in the life of India

My experiments with Life

Aaj sunday ka din hai, din mein daaru pine ka din..

The title is a dialog(sung) from a hindi film chaal baaz, where rajnikant sings this. And we have kind of taken it seriously. every sunday we drink during day time. K’s house was empty and it was R1’s salary party. So the venue was decided at k’s house and it was decided that mutton will be cooked in open chulha. Lateron it was made in normal gas stove. R2 is a cricket fan and me, R1 and K are not that interested in cricket. So he said k we will start drinking at 4pm when cricket starts, we said ok. So by 4pm everything was cooked, when R2 went to buy cigarettes we removed the cable wire so as to annoy R2. We started drinking and R2 was continuously checking tv if its working. By 4:30 I ko  and R1 ko daya aagai R1 pe, and we told him, k the wire is removed from back side, but he wouldn’t believe us, he though k we are making a chutiya out of him and we wud laugh once he stands up to connect the cable.  By 4:45 we were bored staring at the blue screen and asked K to make the connection, but he wudnt.

We had completed 1 round and R1 suddenly stood up, and said k i m leaving, because cigarette was empty we thought k he might be going out to buy cigarette because just before he stood we were all asking each other to go out and buy cigarette and nobody was going. He went and our peg was over, we waited for sometime then i called R1 he said k he was at home, i asked why did he go, he said k “ek hi cheez k liye bar bar bolna padta hai“. I cut the call, because i know he had started his randi giri. He has this habbit of nautanki giri, he had several times did this, leaving in between the parties.  It happens many a times when K and R1 are together they have some kind of deep anger towards each other, either of them will do some tight giri after drinking. After a while K also left for some work, and i and R2 completed the whiskey.  We completed the mutton along with whiskey, after that i had to give money to my galla walla near my old house gave him 1000 bucks and came back to our normal sitting adda
It was 7:30pm and it was time for the evening session. R1 said k he will do the funding, called the daru wala he came for delivery, at the same time K arrived he knew that since R1 is doing the funding he wont allow K to join. R2 asked K to leave as it wont be possible to sit at his home because of R1. Then R1 took the key’s of K2’s house (K2 is the press wala(dhobi) in front of his shop is our adda) his family has gone to andhra so his house was empty and he was having a party at his jija’s place. We 3 and K2’s assistant drank, after that went to a dhaba on highway, ate chicken. Ate pan, smoked some cigs and ghar jaakar lambe ho gaye.
