Sanu ka ground

with 15 comments

Sanu ka ground is the ground where we sit to drink, in fact sanu ka ground is a place that is outside the society, where all things that doesn’t have the sanction of the society is done.. in darkness and sometimes in daylight too.
Sanu is a boy his father was a watchmen for a society and they built a make shift home at the back of the society. Now it happens that ground is claimed to be owned by many and there is a legal battle going on, so the ground is vacant and its surrounded by societies. Its the only vacant place around here, ground is quiet big may be size of 2 to 3 cricket ground and is full of bushes, that thorny bushes that u find every where in Gujarat.. Because only sanu lives there its mostly called sanu ka ground.
The characters.
1. loverias (lovers),
loverias as a term is a mix of english and gujarati, in singularity you can call loveria, for a couple loverias( term used just to match the overall flow of the gujarati language) . So all these children who go to tuition are a common sight on this ground actually lot of tuition classes around the ground.. so these teenagers drop by do have a quick fuck, or just talk and kiss (during the initial phases).. at any given time you can find at least a 20 couples. Mostly young kids experimenting with their bodies. Where ever you go on this ground you will find all bras and panties hanging on the thorny branches like that yellow flower that grows in summer (i forgot the name)..
2. The watchers.
They just move around to have a peek at the live chudaying session, watching couples secretly and shaking themselves watching the live action. Mostly elderly men. Others watch from their house, like ashish (will talk about him in other post) who enjoys watching this round the clock pornography from the balcony of his terrace.. I told him yesterday why don’t u buy a telescope.. he is thinking over it..
3. The drunkards / charsis and other nashodi (one who does any kind of nasha).
You will find occasional drinkers coming with all there accessories and sit and enjoy a drink in the open, and regulars like us are lesser in number. Also you will find potlis having a quick drink while passing thru the ground and drug abusers like charsis, gardullas.
4. The Police
Every police men who hasn’t made much money during the day, takes a round to the ground and will try to lay his hands on some drunkards, take money from them, or will catch loverias. Generally nobody disturbs the loverias but if a policemans pocket is empty he doesn’t have much options. These youngsters have gd money with them..
5. The posers.
The posers are the one who poses to be policemen and tries to get money from the victim. we have done this a lot during our drug addiction days, taking money from loverias.. The posers are not always inclined for money, he may need sex. There are enuf couples there just you need to catch a couple and tell them that you are going to be taken to your parents, tell the guy to run or he will be taken to police station, one or two slap makes the process faster , get the girl, fuck her and leave the place.. G one of our friend was a frequent poser, most of the people in our group has done this raid thing for sex many a times (excluding me). He was in agra all this years and after getting drunked yesterday said lets raid.. we all disagreed,, all those days are over for most of us but G even after getting married, he doesnt leave this raiding thing..
Justifiying himself he would often say, all these girls are already getting fucked what difference does it make if its my dick after she had taken her bf’s dick, only the size is different what else is the difference its just skin like every one has.. hmm i couldnt agree more..
Some may wonder whats the purpose of this post, well nothing, i just wanted to share.. details about a place.. a place that in future no longer would be there.. just a matter of time before it dies.. its an effort to preserve the essence of the ground.. sanu ka ground..
P.S. by the way i forgot to include, people along come there for hugging (shitting). Have a great weekend. gd luck.

  1. Most common, yet least narrated incident. This reminds me of my stay in Chennai for some months. My apartment overlooked the beach. There was the slum near the beach, and those so-called loverias from tuition. I recollect that once during an evening stroll by the beach, I stumbled on one such 'busy' couple unable to figure them out in the dark. This is so typical of a secluded place and a sex-starved generation. And the mixture of police and posers give what is the dramatic angle to the whole story. Isn't it?

  3. @idle mind.. agree, it becomes very dramatic, i wonder how many stories does gets created around the ground every day.. there shud a documentry made…@vicious It was the first thing that come to my mind when i see them,, it sometimes does look like a natural extension to that plant…regarding the sex starved generation i think, the want of sex for this generation starts quiet early then what it used to be.. i remember at their age i didnt had any idea about sex, these couples are hardly 14 years,, there is a post about it i didnt on this blog sometime back..its all effect of internet and mobile..

  4. @ vicious – well, to be honest, we didn't see such uninhibited sexual freedom even when we were schoolkids. The fact that the present generation of Indians seem to have taken to sex so publicly makes me feel probably the starvation is showing off. I don't intend to disrespect the generation though, just feel that some things (like sex) are better expressed in private.

  5. I don't understand why don't you participate in sexual intercourse whiling posing as 'posers'. You don't seem like a guy with moral considerations or perhaps you derive voyuristic pleasures from watching your friends do it. My advice grab your mobile phone and shoot. You can then sell it and also, provide the sex-starved generation of ours with another scandalous dose of 'park-fucks'.

  6. This is quite a common scene more or less in every city. The young couples always find such lonely places for satisfying their needs. and for your comment on my post…..you have got it right. Even you can get the signals of Sri Lanka B'casting Corporation (commonly known as Radio Ceylone), in Short Wave (SW) Band of any radio. I don't know if the station is still running, as few years back they were planning to close their Hindi Service.

  7. @ abhishek , wht makes you think i cant have moral considerations.. I actually cant pose as someone else.. i cant do something thts out of my character.. substance abuse is fine with me, but abuse to a living thing.. thts just not me.. i dont mind other people exploiting but i just cant do it..@ sandy my father used to experiment with radio stations a lot, but i dont remember if he also got radio ceylone..

  10. @idlemind : on this point i totally agree that the show nowadays is much more than it was earlier .. .. but still there are people of this generation who like to keep such things private ….

    July 21, 2009 at 5:51 pm

  11. @ vicious – I fully agree, and I don't want to generalize the statement to mean all of the present generation. You are right.

  12. A merciless portrayal of reality. An unexplainable element of sadness, or better still emptiness, in the composition. Emptiness of life. The closest I have been to scenes like the ones you described are enacted in the environs of Dhakuria Lakes in Kolkata. The only artifact element is an open umbrella behind which the action takes place. Quite powerfully written.
