Character of a blog

with 13 comments

Every blog has a character, and the character should be an extension of the blogger but this is becoming like an exagerration of me. This used to be my fav blog on the web but not so anymore, not because i have come across some thing better but because it has become predictable, which is the last thing i would like my blog to be.

Every one including me knows i m gonna write against something which made sense till now. But its not right to go in the same direction more over it doesnt match with the name of the blog. Thou the blog has diversity but still it feels like a blog of a specialist concentration on a particular niche. I am a generalist and so should this blog be. I want this to change, i want this blog to be more diverse and un predictable. It should be more random and characterless. Enuf with the constant uncommonness, afterall i m not that uncommon, i have my common side too. But that doesnt mean we are going to do away with the uncommonness in entirety, there would be a splash of it here and there.

I guess the basic purpose of this blog is not only to preserve my thoughts and views but also to preserve me, my life. So the quantity of personal stuff should be more. The purpose of this blog is to provide immortality to my soul, i know we all will die one day, but i want my thoughts, my life, my soul to wander in the cyber space, i want myself to be read even after i die. It would have been impossible for a common man to do that if not for the internet.

My suggestion for the people who are sitting on the fence thinking about if they should blog is that every one should blog, its the only chance to preserve your memories, We are nothing but our memories, bad or good ones, we are not there if we dont have our memories. So its kind of very important to take care of your memories. Years later when i would be living a more sansarik jeevan with wife and kids, this blog will provide a sense of relief when i go thru older posts about what a weirdo i have been. A sense of life well spent. And i have decided i would be blogging till my last breath, and when i die this blog will roam around in the internet. Generations of people will read my shit.. i mean thats awesome..

And also from here there would be lesser use of gaalis most probably, i think i have made my point. I have proved that a gaali and sex waala blog can have followers from the main stream. I wish internet will remain un moderated for ever, i will be supporting net neutrality for ever. Btw fuck the chinese.

Change is the only constant, and we need to change all the time, and so will this blog, for good or bad i dont care.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

  1. Your blog has certain uniqueness and a special character to it..thats the only reason i read it(infact its the only blog i follow).. gaalis and sex can get boring after a while but thoughts and interpretations of events in your life(real or imaginary :)) make it a interesting read. Keep it going

  4. Well, nothing to say here. Whatever you think approproate for you and your blog you can choose to do. Just hope this desicion is not triggered out of readers' reactions, but is solely your own whim – then nothing wrong!

  11. oxy.. one has to reinvent all the timevici.. its just that if i stick to a particular theme it will create a mould which i wont be able to break later… I dont want my readers to expect anything from me,,, else i wud be burdened to create contetn especially for them instead of me… i better write for myself… only tht way i cud do justice to the blog..sex, gaali and uncommoness is me, and it will be always there, but i dont want ppl to expect just those things…i dont want ppl to fall in love with the blog for a particular character because if i wont be able to deliver tht 2moro, they will begin to hate…the way i see things is different, hope u understand…@saurabh.. thnx..@abhi.. thnx man..its always nice to know tht

  12. Oh! You feeling all right there? Why so sentimental about life? However, it is nice to read a thought provoking post as well. May you be successful in your endeavours of preserving yourself through this blog.
