A day in the life of India

My experiments with Life

The last trip

Last sunday was fun we went to chelavada its on the outskirts of baroda some 60 km from here near pavagadh. The thing about this place is that i had always wished to go there, almost every one in my drink circle has gone there. its actually gul bhai’s village and is known for ample liquor flow of all types. Frankly speaking i had a wish to go there before i leave baroda and that wish came true on sunday. R2 got drunk and called us saying if we were interested to go there, i and r1 readily accepted.

We went on bikes, R2 and one of his friend and me and R1. Bought a green label from krishna. Stopped after some distance near a pond and drank some. Weather was cloudy and nice. I always liked this kind of sleepy weather. Reached there it was a normal village like every other in this country. We put a khatla under the bamboo bushes, bamboo trees are so beautiful. I am going to plant them once i shift to my village. We began drinking after a while R1 and R2 went to buy desi chicken, bought three of them. Was cheap 100rs each.

There is a old story that once R1 and K went there to drink and eat desi chicken and they found the chicken so cheap that they bought 30 of them and loaded into Ks indica. Somehow they got untied and created big mess in the car. Once they reached back they had no idea what to do with all this chicken. So K put them in his bathroom and used to cook one chicken daily. He used to live alone back then..

R1s friend told a story as to how he had a murgi that used to give egg daily and they had to kill it because every time it gave egg it screamed and the sound that it made was similar to a women crying. His neigbours would ask all the time who is crying and stuff. It had piles i guess because he said that there used to be blood stains on the egg.

Pinta (R1s friend) roasted a chicken and it was all kaccha, then bought more liquor and finished that, then again R1 went to buy another bottle but by the time he came back we already ate food as we were already drunk and pretty tight. It was almost 9pm now. We drove back and shouting and giving gaalis, doing lukha giris and chutiya panktis. Every one was shouting ganpati bappa moriya, well i was shouting ganpati bappa chutiya.. only R1 realised what i was shouting others didnt notice. We were shouting weird stuffs without any logic and creating gaali wala rhymes and slogans.

Then we were greeted with gand phadu rain. Such a rain that you cant open your eyes and even if you could open you couldnt see anything in the front. Reached baroda at 11 we had parceled the remaining liquor and tried to drink again. Nobody could drink.

The trip was good.
