A day in the life of India

My experiments with Life

A fortnight in pictures

My greying hair, has become a cause of concern.

This is kaman (God of sex) its made during the festival of pooram, young girls pray even kids. Dont know  much about this festival, coincides with holi. My father made this, its made from flowers.

UNI bought a dog.

CSN1 caught 2 tortroise.

And tortroise ka hisab, ate for “touchings” with drink in the night then later in the night went for stealing fish from other people’s pond, were caught and came back empty handed. the orange things they are tortroise ka eggs.

Pic1: In the LD3 first i went to Mamas house and from there SU (mama’s son) and I went for ladki dekhing, and since my hair was grey they applied kajal to hide them, they ran short of kajal. After ladki dekhing on the way back after having a drink i forgot about the kajal and my whole hand was black. Thou i had always liked grey hair, i mean it looks cool having strands of grey here and there, gives the look of maturity but now its going out of hand.

Pic2: I have always wondered from where i have got my artistic bend, after seeing my father make that kaman i know now. It looks good na.

Pic3: Thou i like dogs a lot but have decided never to pet them anymore, they cause a lot of pain when they are sick or get old, it breaks my heart. Its easier to see humans die because they have faults, and humans are not generally good, but when an animal especially a dog dies, it hurts a lot because there is no creature capable of unconditional love other than a dog.

Pic4: Killing a tortroise is kinda worst thing to do, i dont know why but everyone feels bad about killing a tortoise, there is something about this creature that generates compassion. Even the seasoned killers feel guilt. And the way its killed is more terrifying. Since there is no easier way to kill them, they are put in boiling water, after tadping a bit they die, then its easier to remove its shell after that. Earlier some of the hotels had them on the menu here. The meat tastes good, its different, some what tastes like shell fish. I was wondering if tortroises evolved from shellfish? seems very logical.
You may say that i am having double standards, on one hand i say i m an animal lover and the very next instance i m eating innocent creatures. Just to make it clear, i m not against killing animals as i have said it before, i m just against the way they are treated when they are alive. Killing for food is not wrong, killing for fun is wrong. They have a saying here ” konna pavam thinna thirum” which means the sin of killing is forgone if we eat what we have killed. And to just make it clear, i was not directly involved in killing or catching.. even if i had opposed they would have killed, so there is no point in opposing, and regarding eating.. i eat everything because i dont have pretentions, i m experimental and i see it as an opportunity to uncondition myself.

  5. @damsel.. in nature rarely a species eats the meat of its own species.. so i guess it wont be natural.. but still if someone wants to eat for experience purpose then there is nothing wrong,, if u give me cooked human meat, i wont have any problem in eating.. i would glad to eat..@Sat & survivor.. i know the picture is not in good taste, i cud have posted a moderate one, but then that would amount to censorship.. and thats the last thing that we do on this blog..@abhi thnx
